The Scottish capital is a city worth visit that will take you back to the medieval time with its incredible history and architecture. After some delicious Scottish fudge from the Fudge House, we started our day with a visit onboard Her Majesty's Yacht Britannia, a beautiful ship used by the British royal family to travel the world for decades. Now retired, the HMY Britannia is a museum and tea room worth visiting. From there we walked across town and climbed to the top of Carlton Hill for an incredible view if Edinburgh before walking the Royal Mile to Victoria Street also know as the real life Diagon Alley from the Harry Potter saga. It is believed by many Harry potter fans that Victoria Street in Edinburgh is the place that inspired J.K. Rolling to make Diagon Alley. To end the afternoon, we headed to the Scotch Whiskey Experience Edinburgh to learn more about the making of this incredible liquor loved by everyone in Scotland but also around the world. The tour was beautifully done and very interesting. Finally we had to have some fish and chips so we found an authentic pub located on Rose Street called The Kenilworth. It was a real delight!
