In this video, JR Nelson, Joshua Grant, and Ryan Strickland take on “That’s What You Get” by Paramore — but with one twist: No original drums. They listen to the track drumless and build their own parts from scratch based on how they feel the song should go. Three different drummers. Three different approaches. After locking in their final takes, they get to hear the original version and see how close (or completely different) they were. Which take did you like the most? If you’re a Paramore fan, how important are the original drums to this song? And drummers, what would you have played? Let me know in the comments.
