There’s something different about editing at sunrise. No laptop. No notifications. Just a printed manuscript, a pen, and the quiet sound of morning light filling the room. You can see the light shining through my window. At some point my phone stopped and the dreaded "Your iphone storage is full" popped up, and I had to go to delete photos of my random photos of flowers, books, sunrises, and my travel shots. I take way too many photos and post them in my stories on Instagram I love to travel and show my followers photos. Story of my life: delete photos for storage! In this Write With Me session, I’m rewriting my novel the old-fashioned way — crossing out sentences, circling words, and reshaping scenes by hand. Editing like this slows me down in the best way.
