About this Video: Custom Vintage Heater Noise No Video Advertising Inside Continuous Sound 10 Hours of background noise for sleeping, study or concentration. What an exciting video to create! I found this vintage toastmaster heater ( which I believe is from the 1960's ) at a thrift shop for 10 dollars! It is in really great condition. We turn it on and record the sounds with a Sure 57 microphone and send them through a Crate amplifier. This allows me to customize the sound right away, by turning the highs down and boosting the lows. I also turned the overdrive channel on for the addition of a warm punch to this sound. From there I placed a 3" pipe near the speaker of the amplifier. We have done other videos with 4" wide pipes, but never 3" pipes. I found this creates a slightly more intense sound. I slid my GoPro into the end of the pipe so you can easily see it from a first person point of view. Comment down below and let me know what you think of this unique sleep video.
