How are children affected, and how can they be helped? What can they understand? In this informative video Rose and Hannah will offer some guidance from the perspectives of a clinician and a person with lived experience. Rose is an Occupational Therapist who has worked in child, adolescent and adult mental health services since 1986. She supports families where a parent has a mental illness through direct clinical practice, creating and implementing peer support and group programs, developing resources and conducting training and research. She now works as the statewide FaPMI (Families where a Parent has a Mental Illness) Co-ordinator. Hannah Dee is an author, consumer consultant, advocate and speaker and parent of three boys. She also has a diagnosis of BPD. She is passionate about helping to lift the stigma and bias surrounding mental illness
