This took over 50 hours to edit (+ many hours trying to debug export issues) ;_________; so I would really appreciate it if you shared the video so we can spread some DPR greatness (DPR world domination woot woot). Sorry this isn't the full set; I was struggling between balancing living in the moment and recording, maybe next time I'll have to go to 2 concerts lmao. If you weren't able to make it to the concert I hoped this filled in some gaps (I really hope you get to go the next time because it's such an out of the world experience seeing them perform) and if you were there I hope this helps with some of the post-concert withdrawals we've been all feeling haha. Some concert context: I had a VIP meet & greet ticket and my group started lining up at around 6:45AM in the morning since we really wanted barricade. I arrived around 9:00AM to join them and there were about 3 other VIP groups in front of us. Luckily, I still ended up at barricade towards the left side of the stage, which I think worked out for the better in the end since there was less pushing on this side. I heard many horrible stories about people having no concert etiquette in the middle and right side of the crowd, which is extremely disappointing... Nonetheless grateful that nothing extremely dangerous happened to anyone (at least from what I was aware of). The DPR crew, Christian especially was super attentive to make sure everyone was doing ok. Overall this was by far (light years away) the best concert I have ever attended. I cannot explain in words how amazing the performances were. The artistry, the stage design, and of course the music... CHEF'S KISS!!! Some background context about my journey w/ listening to DPR if you're still reading lol: I found Dabin's music during his first album when I was going through a turbulent period at the start of my undergrad degree (I think this was around 2017). I quickly became a fan of his music and kept up with the DPR crew's activities. His albums have really helped me push through difficult times; it was also the first time ever where I enjoyed every single song on an artist's album. I swear I always pull up his "Just Dream It" video whenever I'm uninspired and it does magic in putting me in a productive trance lol. Since finding his music, I was always anticipating to seeing him perform live. Unfortunately, the timing never worked out until the Dallas concert. I decided to study abroad in Korea during late Aug 2018 - Dec 2018 in hopes of seeing him perform in Seoul. LOL ironically the first week I was in Korea, DPR had announced their 2018 tour in America. Fast forward in 2019, I had purchased VIP tickets to see DPR perform at Head in the Clouds, but again I ended up interning in Seattle and couldn't make it LOL. 2021 comes and they were returning to Head in the Clouds, but I was still hesitant attending something with a large gathering during Rona times. Finally 2022 comes and DPR announced the Regime Tour; this was especially exciting since Christian had put out so much music as well. The entire ticket situation with the concert was extremely stressful. I was dealing with disheartening personal issues during the announcement of the tour and was not sure which city I would be living in by the time the tour came around. Regardless I decided to try to purchase Seattle tickets (which is where I currently live lol), but AXS had the best of me. Eventually, I decided to search on Twitter for VIP tickets in other cities, which got me to Dallas, TX. Of course after finding the tickets it was a struggle getting to the concert with the postponement of the original date, which I am so grateful that there was still time for them to reschedule given how busy they were! This experience has taught me to always buy refundable plane tickets and hotel bookings though lmao. I was also able to make new friends via twitter for the concert, which made everything even better. I guess that pretty much sums up everything lol thank you if you're still reading.
