This beach is around 40 kms from the goa international airport, around 17 kms from the Mudgaon railway station and around 48 kms from the panjim city. Cavelossim beach houses some of the best star rated resorts in south goa including the Radisson Blu, Novotel, the Leela, Mayfair hideaway resort among the others. Cavelossim beach is also a white sand beach similar to the Varca and the Mobor beaches and is less crowed and serene. this beach is also one of the cleanest beaches of goa. Cavelossim beach is perfect for long walks and dolphin rides apart from the water-based adventure activities that are available here which includes jet ski, parasailing, speed boat rides, banana boat rides, kayaking among the others. one can also enjoy cruising over the sal river going through mangroves, paddy fields, and the fishing farms. there are limited beach shacks on this beach and most of them are lined with sun lounges which are perfect for relaxing. Cavelossim beach is a very popular destination in goa among the international tourists and hence all the beach shacks serve here a multitude of both international and local cuisines at their shacks. Sam’s beach shack, q baa beach shack, v pearls beach shack, and Jamy's beach shack are some of the popular beach shacks of the Cavelossim beach. this beach is also very safe for swimming as it has a totally flat sea shore. the night life in the Cavelossim beach is bit more laid back as compared to what you would find at the other popular south Goan beaches, but most of the star rated resorts here have their own night life partying at their inhouse pubs and cafes. this beach has limited accommodation options for the budgeted tourists, though there are numerous star rated resorts situated around this beach.
