It brings together watchmakers and artisans to create timepieces entirely by hand. Key supporters of the project include names like Philippe Dufour, Robert Greubel, Steven Forsey and.... Chopard's co-president and the man behind the renaissance of Ferdinand Berthoud: Karl Friedrich Scheufele. This third chapter in the Naissance d'Une Montre coincides with Berthoud's 10-year anniversary after its resurrection, and showcases the story of how the atelier perceives artisanal watchmaking. This does not involve any CNC machining and is crafted entirely by hand. Over 6 years of work have been poured into this watch, resulting in one of the most fascinating timekeepers out there. It includes a constant force mechanism with a fus-een-chain transmission system, a bi-metallic balance wheel, and a whole lot more to be discovered.
