Hey guys! In today’s DCS MiG-29A Fulcrum Tutorial Video, we are going to be going over the basic Tactics, Techniques and Procedures you should keep in mind when employing the MiG-29A Fulcrum in a BVR or Beyond Visual Range fight, while we will be breaking things down to a very simple and clear cut example, these same basics will apply whether its 1v1 or Many Vs Many… When it comes to BVR scenarios, it's exceedingly important to remember to think and fight like a Soviet Fighter Pilot, not a NATO pilot who found him or herself in the cockpit of a Fulcrum. In Soviet doctrine, our Sapphire 29 Radar is not our primary sensor, our GCI, or if we have an A-50 Mainstay up, our AIC acts as our primary search and acquisition sensor while our Onboard radar is simply part of our fire control system and is only used when we are ready to actually engage a bandit with an AA-10 Alamo. We also want to use our own radar as little as possible to avoid blocking our SPO-15 Radar Warning Receiver from seeing the electronic battlespace around us. While it sounds like a lot, once you start thinking, flying and fighting like a Soviet Pilot, you’ll get the hang of it and start splashing Phantoms, Eagles and Tomcats in no time! 0:00:00 - DCS MiG-29A BVR Intro 0:01:57 - The BVR Scenario 0:05:47 - MiG-29A Cockpit Setup 0:11:32 - MiG-29A BVR Fight 0:21:30 - MiG-29A WVR Fight #dcs #dcsworld #pcgaming ►►System Specs DCS/Gaming PC: GPU: GeForce RTX 4090 CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-14900K CPU @ 5.20GHz Memory: 128 GB RAM 3600mhz Current resolution: 2560 x 1080, 144Hz ►►Here is a link to my Patreon Page every bit of support helps make awesome DCS videos and missions possible! / spudknocker ►►If you want to contact me with feedback on videos or want to collaborate feel free to join my personal discord here: / discord ►►And if you do donate to my Patreon make sure to link your discord account for your Roles in my Discord server.
