About Dobro Dave & Chazz: David Bass started recording slide guitar tunes on resonator at the beginning of lockdown under the name of ‘Dobro Dave’ and shortly after invited Chazz, fellow member of popular local band ‘The Meanies’, to lend his soulful vocals to a few tracks. Results proved popular so they have kept going. The duo record covers reinvented for the vocal/resonator line up and enjoy the space and freedom it gives them. About Circa 16 Sound Recording: Circa 16 Sound Recording is a recording studio in Dumfries in the South West of Scotland which offers a range of recording, mixing, mastering, and production services. The studio is dedicated to providing a platform for the best in breaking and unsigned music in the region. ‘DISCOVER’ is the studio’s talent development project which opens up sustainable employment within music industry careers for the 18-25s. Two successful applicants joined the team and led the ‘DISCOVER Sessions’ project, curated the lineup, designed the “look and feel” of the production and produced the video and sound recording for the work.
