Mini Vice Restoration

I picked up this little vice from a local 2nd hand shop for a quick and easy restoration project. It is a Stanley 742 clamp on bench vice. At some point in the past the jaws have been modified with 3 grooves gouged out of them, I cleaned the jaws a little bit with a file but i didn't want to remove too much material as it would have prevented the jaws from meeting properly when the vice is closed. At 6:33 in the video i tried to remove the clamp from the vice but the thread had a slight bit of damage at the top so I didn't want to force it out as it risked damaging the threads in the casting. I know yellow wasn't the original colour, but i like to use what i already have rather than buying more & i think it turned out Ok, Let me know what you think in the comment section below.
