Today I'm trying something new in the makeup department, I am mostly interested in overall aesthetics, rather than just makeup looks on their own. So I am going to create videos that show a makeup look that was inspired by a specific aesthetic, and this time its teen witch aesthetic that many contemporary visual artists use when talking about adolescence and female coming of age experience. Petra Collins's work, her recent photography is the main inspiration for this look, as well as movies like The Virgin Suicides and Picnic at Hanging Rock. This tutorial is also just in time for Halloween, if you're going as any of the teen characters that were in slightly creepy feminine horror films.
