The live set explained: Tempest is routed in 3 track thru Ableton, (no direct monitoring), so i can record what the audience hear Session recording + arrangement recording are both armed, this way i can MIDI loop AND record the gig in multi tracks, it does require some Ableton hacks to get it working ask me if you are interested empty MIDI clips with fixed length are armed and running all time (see blinking red buttons), this way I don't need to manually trigger/arm them. 0:00 track intro starting with follow up action (see the blinking Akai buttons) 0:10 moving sliders controlling HP + reverb dry wet on the main groove (letting the kick in) 0:15 Tempest percussion in routed thru Ableton delay+reverb 0:40 Akai APC midi mapped buttons which set the Ableton sends level on Tempest inputs 0:48 pressing record on the Tempest to make a loop 0:50 ableton follow up action plays the next scene 1:16 Tempest is now looping that percussion pattern 1:27 Tempest distortion + activating FX sends in Ableton 1:58 MIDI looping in Ableton (drum rack) 2:13 it's so fun just to move the fader of the HP and let the groove +back in and on and on...this setup is so easy that it's really hard to screw up the song or mix :)
