The rolling stock used on this route is usually London Northwestern Railway class 350 Desiros but West Midlands Railway class 323 units can also be used however both these trains are part of the West Midlands Trains franchise. Services which call at all stations on this route are limited to either 3 or 4 carriage units due to the platforms at most stations along the route being unable to accommodate longer trains, when longer services stop at local stations selective door operation must be used.
