Johann Christian Heinrich Rinck (18 February 1770 – 23 July 1846) studied with Johann Christian Kittel (1732–1809), who himself was a pupil of Johann Sebastian Bach, and eventually became kantor at the music school in Darmstadt, Germany where he was also a court organist from 1813. Rinck was a prolific composer who, in addition to more advanced and sophisticated works, wrote many of these short pieces that can be found in various old organists' handbooks of the 19th century. They were a kind of stock-in-trade for church organists. Played on the sample set for the Rudolf Janke organ in the Bückeburg Stadtkirche by Rudolf Janke, created in the style of a mid-German baroque organ, reusing some elements of the prior Hammer organ. The organ is a free interpretation of the old concept of Compenius. The organ is designed on three manuals and a pedal, each division having its own principal chorus (Werkprinzip) and a multitude of solo voices. There are 47 speaking stops in total. Sample set by Sonus Paradisi.
