Featured is an interesting chess game between LeelaRookOdds and Grandmaster Former_Player on lichess. Out of a Bird’s Opening, the game follows a symmetrical path until move 4. On move 5, Black declines a pawn offer, favoring development instead. By move 6, Leela has already planted an invasive pawn on g5, the first of several advanced pawns that gradually restrict Black’s mobility. The resulting position after 36 moves is striking: not a single pawn exchange has occurred, the Grandmaster’s pieces are confined to the back two ranks, and the light-squared bishop is completely buried. #ChessAI #LeelaRookOdds #chess I'm a self-taught National Master in chess out of Pennsylvania, USA who was introduced to the game by my father in 1988 at the age of 8. The purpose of this channel is to share my knowledge of chess to help others improve their game. I enjoy continuing to improve my understanding of this great game, albeit slowly.
