So this video goes over everything you need to swap 17z front calipers on your mk5/mk6 gti. Will not fit on mk7’s I believe as those are aluminum hubs and you will have to shave maybe 5mm’s off from the mounting service. But below is all the parts you need! 17z Calipers - • come on 05-07 VW Touaregs with the v8’s or the same year Porsche Cayenne’s. I got mine from Facebook but you can find them everywhere on eBay. Rotors - • They’re from a Mercedes Benz ML350, 330x22mm rotors I believe. I’m not sure if you can find similar spec rotors from a vw so you don’t need hub centric rings for the fronts. https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/merc... Pads - • Pads are from a Touareg of that year with the same calipers, bought from fcp euro. I went with oe/oem ones since 6 pistons should be enough stopping force with oem pads and rotors on my mk5 gti. https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/vw-d...
