In this video, we'll be taking a look at the PGA Tour Pro Cyril Bouniol as he tackles the Golfing The Villages Scramble Series at Tierra Del Sol Country Club located in the The Villages. This is part one of a two part series which will set the stage playing the first nine holes. Incidentally we had to start the course on the back nine which is known as the Ponce De Leon course, so our first hole of the day is number 10. This golf course is open to the public and is nestled in the wonderful golf community of The Villages located in central Florida. This course is perfect for anyone looking to play a challenging round of golf but without breaking the bank. Golfing the Villages is an independent channel dedicated to bringing you all the golf related content from The Villages. The Villages is a 55+ active senior retirement community located in central Florida. We are located about an hour away north of Orlando, and about and hour and a half from Tampa Bay. If you're a golfer looking for a new challenge, then be sure to check out this course! This particular scramble was filmed and played on November 17, 2023 at Tierra Del Sol Country Club Championship Golf Course. My special guest for this episode was Cyril Bouniol. His is a professional golfer currently ranked no 4113 in the world, however in 2014 he reached no 416 in the world according to the Official World Golf Rankings. This is the first time either Cyril or myself had seen or played the course. We played form the tips (Gold Tees) with a yardage of 3565 for this side, combined with the back the total yardage is 6886. The second nine will be in part two which I will pin in the comments below.
