When Sri Purandaradasar sings to his little Krishna, it’s like Yashodama cradling her little one. This Kriti is again an example of that pure love. He is the one who also vanquished the evil demons. In his mind”s eye he can visualize Lord Krishna in the Garuda Vahana. I learnt this composition from the great Vidushi Delhi Sisters in a trip to the Capital when I was a kid.
