I made this little rf detector project as a result of recent rsgb proposals on EMF CALCULATIONS LOG. The rf circuit has tuned antenna for uhf antenna and any rf detected voltage is stepped down by the voltage divider to safely provide the input to analog input pin on the Arduino uno board. The adc on Arduino uno can take maximum of 5v input. The Arduino sketch steps up the voltage and displays on the OLED screen along with the voltage of the power supply and the ambient temperature. Also on the circuit is an led bar graph for visual display of the sensitivity levels of the detected rf. The project is work in progress and I will be posting updates as it takes it final shape in a handy case. After the assembly I will try to find a way to calibrate the device possibly with professional rf detector and then will do some field tests to see the results. Future upgrades include use of ESP32/LORA32 boards for extra features like WiFi, Bluetooth and radio transmission. This will also open up options to have a Bluetooth connected app to control the device and also view and record the data for further analysis.
