Redfish on the Hewes 18 Redfisher in Whitewater Bay Flamingo Everglades

Catching Redfish on the Redfisher. What a day! My cousin Jeff came along with us to Flamingo in Everglades National Park and the Redfish were off the hook! Or should I say, "On the hook" all day! On the way to the dock Joe and I were explaining to Jeff the importance of not putting his hand in the water because of sharks that may be wanting the fish you are releasing. There's also alligators and crocodiles lurking in the brackish water. Well, something happened at the dock this morning. Picture this. We all just stepped into the boat. Joe took off the line from the bow, I'm putting my stuff away, and Jeff is trying to take the line off the cleat from the dock. He's at the stern of the boat. The bow of the boat was slowly drifting away from the dock but Jeff was having a tough time untying the line since the cleat seemed to be getting farther and farther away from him. His body was so stretched out that he fell into the water HEAD FIRST! LOL What ever happened to "Jeff, don't put your hand in the water?" LOL all of his belongings were floating around the boat and I was telling him to get his stuff but Joe was telling him to GET OUT NOW! I don't know how he didn't die from hypothermia that day since it was 56'F and soaking wet! He dried off and we ended up having a REDFISH kind of day!
