Permaroof rubber roof installation. The kit came with no instructions so I thought I'd share my experience. Whilst I'm no professional I couldn't actually find too much 'how to' information about this brand of rubber roof. So here it is, just sharing my experience of fitting it. Firstly make sure you are going on to new dry boards. Any moisture and it won't bond. I think the most important point to note here is the fact that the rubber sheet has joins which are twice the thickness of the main sheet. If you have a ridge and are lucky enough, this would be a good place for it to go. Where you really don't want the join to be, is where you clip the drip edge in, it makes it super hard to clip in. Overhang for the rubber is 50mm all round. I'm super stoked with the result and would recommend, especially as they say it's supposed to last 50 years! I hope this helps.
