Just do it, but whatever you do, please Leave No Trace (LNT). The Ness of Brodger is a five thousand years old Neolithic village. It was rediscovered in recent times, and excavation workis continuing till this day and will continue for many years to come. What the excavation has shown, and exposed, is the high level of stone masonry by people who were masters of stonework. Stone was there in abundance. The Ness itself is an isthmus between lochs Harray and Stenness on the Orkney mainland and it is becoming one of those things to see on your "bucket list". Well worth going to see and spend a day on site. #LeaveNoTrace #Scotland #MikeMcCallum
