STEAK & ONIONS Puerto Rican Style - Bistec Encebollado 🤤

Classic Puerto Rican recipe Bistec Encebollado! (Steak & Onions). Ingredients: -3 lbs Cubed Steak -8-9 garlic cloves -adobo (adjust to your liking) -1/4 cup olive oil -1/4 cup Rice vinegar or white vinegar -salt and Pepper to taste -2 large yellow onions -2 tbsp Sofrito Instructions: 1. In a bowl, season your steak and mix well. Cover and allow steak to marinate in the fridge for 20 minutes 2. In your pan, warm up 2 tbsp olive oil and the sofrito on medium heat. 3.Add your marinated steak and cover. Turn the stove to Medium High heat. Allow steak to release all of its water for about 10-15 minutes. 4. Once the water has evaporated halfway, add more onions and 1 cup of water. 5. Lower the heat to medium again and allow to cook for another 20 minutes. ** if your steak dries out before the 20 minutes, add 1/2 cup of water again and lower the heat to medium low.
