In this video, we explore the charming daytime side of Malacca — full of culture, history, and delicious local food. We began our morning stroll along the beautiful Malacca River, where quiet streets and heritage buildings set the perfect scene. A surprise visit to the Ghost Museum added a touch of fun, and we soon found ourselves back at Jonker Street. At the well-decorated Kopi Harian restaurant, we enjoyed tasty Malaysian dishes and desserts surrounded by traditional Chinese-style furniture. Its atrium is not only a peaceful spot for coffee, but also a great place for photos! We continued exploring Jonker Street in daylight — a totally different experience from the vibrant nightlife we saw the day before. On the famous red square, the colorful tricycles were still busy, and we even saw a cleaner carefully maintaining the heritage site by the river. Next, we climbed Bukit Malacca to visit the iconic Portuguese fortress A Famosa. The climb was easy and the view from the top was amazing! Historical relics like ancient churches, stone tablets, and the statue of St. Francis Xavier gave us a glimpse into the city's deep past. Although the Malacca Tower was closed, we found more Dutch colonial buildings and even spotted both ancient and modern ships — symbols of Malacca’s evolving history. After a relaxing riverside walk and quiet moments in small alleyways, we wrapped up the trip by shopping for local gifts at a well-decorated souvenir shop. Then it was time to head back to Johor Bahru by bus, ending this meaningful and heartwarming journey. Thanks for watching!
