I covered Missing Limbs a couple weeks ago and I had to cover Gethsemane. Obviously this is just a vocal cover as this song is so refined and intricate I could not do it justice without the music behind it. Gethsemane is nothing short of an absolute masterpiece of agape love. To me it represents emotional and spiritual transcendence in a situation that not everyone can fully understand. As someone who has gone through an eerie amount of what Vessel's lyrics are about, songs like this resonate with me on a way I can't fully describe. The divinity of losing someone physically, yet never losing the soul tie is a type of heartache that is indescribable, yet beautiful. A beautiful representation of this sacrificial love is found in Twin Flame connections. They are not inherently romantic, but the chaos from separation consciousness as it evolves into unity consciousness is a different kind of hell. I don't know if its Vessel's exact experience, but the majority of Sleep Token's songs describe this flawlessly for me. You begin to realize that they may not be with you in the 3d or physical, but the spiritual connection is never severed because you are them. We are body, mind, and soul and Sleep Token's music is so magical for me as someone who's been through the hell of spiritual awakening. This song has jumped into my top 5 songs of all time within mere months. Sleep Token has brought words to emotions that I carry that I didn't know how to explain or put to words. The pure art that band creates is breathtaking. I can't wait until Vessel is ready to play this song live one day! I know the emotions that this song carries for him and I hope he knows, I understand the power a song can hold for its writer. Thank you so much Sleep Token!
