It took about 35mins train ride from Sapporo Station to Otaru Station (JR Hakodate Line) I’ll be sharing with you some of the places I went to eat and visit. I started leaving for Otaru pretty late around 10 plus am, had brunch till around close to 12pm before starting to explore so did not manage to cover some places such as Mt Teng’s Ropeway, Otaru Museum etc. Hope to go back again one day to visit. You could add these into your itinerary if you started your day earlier. It took us about an hour (walking on foot) to find a place to eat brunch.
