Dateline Philippines: President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. arrived in New York, United States, on Sunday, March 8, to kickstart his working visit. This is Marcos Jr.’s sixth visit to the United States since he took office in 2022. PR001—the callsign of the official aircraft carrying the President—landed at the Newark Liberty International Airport on Sunday at 2:45 p.m. (local time). On Monday, March 9, Marcos Jr. will deliver a speech at the 70th session of the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women.
