Irish people are loved around the world for so many things, including the music they’ve shared, the food they’ve exported, and, of course, the beer they’ve brewed. But there are 5 things Irish people do that the world thinks are weird. So the Irish are a very social bunch, but we have to remember that not everyone in the world is. Some people may think that chatting to anyone and everyone on a night out, waving to a person on a backcountry road, or saying hello to a passer-by as you walk the dog are all weird things to do, but they just love being friendly. A Tayto sandwich is an absolute favourite in Ireland, so much so that it’s almost impossible to recreate outside of the Emerald Isle unless you can somehow get some Tayto and Brennan’s Bread sent to you. Plus, we still think it needs to be made in Ireland to be authentic. It may seem so normal to an Irish person to put crisps in bread, but it is one of those things Irish people do that the world thinks are weird. Maybe they need to try it!
