How to Produce and Mix Doom/Death Metal (Drum Mixing part 1)

I was searching a long time to find a doom metal producer for my own band (Ocean of Grief) in order to have a deep/ambient but punchy sound but never managed to find one that was able to capture these characteristics and wouldn't cost a kidney. As a result, I decided to start producing on my own (like many other musicians) but focused almost exclusively on doom/death metal sound that led to working with bands of the genre that were also seeking for a similar sound. So, my goal with this channel is to help bands understand how I work but also give tips and also show how to mix this particular music genre that deserves a treatment of his own.
