Hey, friends! 💕 Today's video is a bit different from my regular content, since I wanted to share something personal and important. For the first time in my creative journey, I've been facing a creative slump—not from a lack of ideas, but from self-doubt that made me question the worth and impact of my art. I know these struggles exist only in my head, but they can feel overwhelming at times. And if you're dealing with similar challenges, know that you're not alone. We’re in this together, and if you need support or just to share your story with someone, I'm always here to listen and offer a supportive shoulder to lean on. There are things that are going to be slightly different now. I haven't planned any drastic changes to my videos thus far, but there may be some alterations nonetheless. Over the next few months, I'll be focusing on things that give me joy, and indulge in more relaxed and experimental projects. I'll still be painting (which always makes my heart full) and trying out new mediums, but I'll be stepping back from crafting for now since it feels a bit too much. There can be more book recs, since books have always been both my escape route and my comfort place. I'm thinking about going out more, and giving you some sneak peeks on my life outside my studio (but those sneak peeks will still be related to art inspiration and art making. No worries, I have no plans for a plain life blogging 😄). I hope you’ll stick with me on this ride as I navigate my way through my art slump😊 In today's video, I'll also be doing a cozy bookshelf tour and creating a new watercolor painting as usual. I hope it will bring you comfort and inspiration for your own creative projects. Sending lots of love and gratitude to all of you for being a part of this journey. 💖 Hugs, Xenia 🖌️📚✨ 0:00 Let's talk 03:06 Small studio reset and bookshelf tour 05:59 Time to paint If you like the atmosphere that I create, please like, subscribe, or just leave a comment below.
