French government to form special commission to find compromise on immigration bill • FRANCE 24

The French government announced plans on Tuesday to form a special parliamentary commission aimed at breaking the deadlock over a draft immigration law. The bill was rejected by lawmakers in a surprise move Monday which represented a "humiliating defeat" for President Emmanuel Macron's government, FRANCE 24's Clovis Casali said.
