#vanillacake #vanillacakerecipe You need a very easy yet delicious vanilla cake? Do you want to do some cake decoration? Here is a recipe that can't go wrong. It is so versatile. The ingredients are simple and are in every house. Ingredients 1/2 cup room temperature butter 1 cup granulated sugar 3 eggs at room temperature 1 tsp vanilla extract 1 tsp lemon zest (optional) 1 3/4 cups all purpose flour 1/2 tsp baking powder Pinch of salt 8 inch round pan Tips -Use salt only if you use unsalted butter. -Butter and eggs have to be at room temperature to have a better result. -In case you want a bigger cake you can always double the ingredients. -I didn't grease my pan since it is a non stick one. I just added parchment paper in the bottom. -Don't panic if the batter is lumpy, or it didn't come together, it will be in the oven. -You can use a stand mixer if you want to make the batter, or simply use a whisk and mix everything by hand. -Flour should be sifted. In this recipe I used whole wheat flour, however all purpose flour is good. -If you want to make a chocolate cake, you can substitute 1/4 cup flour with cocoa powder instead.
