Some days it all comes together. Some days all the prep, strategy, scouting and understanding come together in a deer hunters wet dream. This would apply to 50% of this hunting trip.. but the X factor is my mate has been working this territory for years and keeps telling me about it. One fateful rainy night I narrowly missed killing myself on a wet corner of a forestry track. The X factor is... my mates. ..who answer a desperate phone call in the evening when they'd rather be doing something else. The same mates who stick with you all night and are back the next morning to see it through. Maximum respect to Dael, Andrew, Kasey and Eloise.
