This is a tutorial on how to overclock your more affordable 9th generation Coffee Lake 8 Core CPU to 5GHz and beyond using the EVGA Z390 Dark motherboard. The motherboard offers a very strong power delivery for both CPU and memory overclocking, and there are a couple of very handy overclocking profiles already integrated to the bios, which you can use to your liking. Remember that every CPU is different and overclocks differently. Also if you wish to try my 5.2GHz daily profile with up to 4300MHz 17-18-18 memories you need to have a very strong DDR4 kit, with Samsung B-die memory chips and preferably A2 PCB.
