After decades of recording to tape we finally had camcorders that could record tapeless to memory cards. But it wasn't all fun and games. The largest SDHC cards at the time were only able to record an hour and a half. This would soon change, and Panasonic had options to offload the video onto portable harddrives and DVD recorders. These were the first modern camcorders and a hidden gem.
