STAG water pump cover replacement, part 1

So here we go again, back in the engine bay to sort the corroded water pump cover, which unveiled its sorry state when i did the timing chains. Now the water pump on the stag V8 sits in the V of the engine, which means removing all the components like carbs, intake, etc, not something I'm shy of as I have done stag water pumps before, but many moons ago. Also, I'm sure I have an air leak on the intake manifold, and can combine the 2 jobs when refitting depending on what else I find ? I have a new water pump cover for a 12 vane water pump ready to go, so it should be a straight forward job ? this will be a 2 part video because of the work involved, plus the time it will take for parts to arrive from the UK if i need to order any ? I'm also setting up a Patreon which will give early access to video's and some behind the scenes footage, more on that to come soon, so for now lets turn some spanners and get this water pump cover sorted.
