Fishing in the Everglades: Tamiami Trail Canal

The Everglades are a bit of a drive for me so I don't get to fish the area a lot, but when I do, it is always worth the trip. I drove down the Tamiami Trail and fished the canal that runs parallel to it for a little under two hours. This time of the year when the water levels are low the fishing is amazing. Just pitching the little Nikko Tadpole along the shoreline produced more action than I could've wanted.
