Starting from selecting timber, right through the laminating, planing and shaping stages to reinforcing the blades with fibreglass and epoxy, I will take you through the whole process to create a beautiful handmade paddle of your own. I have always wanted to make a traditional paddle and I am thrilled with the outcome - a deep water Ottertail paddle for myself and a powerful Beavertail paddle for my buddy Ginge - light, efficient, flexible paddles that will last a lifetime.
