This is the story about my travel in Burma/Myanmar 4,000 kilometers, by bus, car, motorbike, bicycle and walking, entering the land from deep south, traveling up north as far as to Shan state, covering 12 destinations in 28 days and would have wished for to cover less places, nothing looked for me worth staying longer than 2 or 3 days and I simply did not feel invited, so I decided to go on with flashpacking to understand more about this country. I felt a bit pushed through the land of the golden smile, moving on in flashpacking style, simply because there was no inviting place to hang around for longer period of time as I found in neighboring countries. The deeper I traveled into Burma the more surreal experiences I made. Flashpacker per definition and my understanding A flashpacker is a backpacker who travels in and out of towns, cities or countries in short periods of time. Typically a flashpacker spends 2 to 3 days in each location as they try to squeeze as many places into one trip, rather than stay in one place for a longer period of time gaining a deeper appreciation for it. Therefore you are in and out in a flash. Duuude... I just got back from an amazing 5 weeks in South East Asia. I went to Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand and it was all amazing!
