"After Dark" is the 4th LP from Vermont-based ambient musician Fimnur. It further explores partnership songs featuring classical guitar, and also includes two tracks with drums. The intention for this album was to explore what dungeon synth can be, and to nudge it gently in new directions. Recorded November 2025 - February 2026. "Fimbruary" was originally recorded in February 2025 and titled "Snowy February". No AI was used in the music making process at any point during recording or production. The album artwork is a four-layer block print by the artist. Prints are available for purchase via my bandcamp page. Tracks 5, 6, 7, and 8 feature classical guitarist Tom Vitzthum playing an 11-string guitar in extended DADGAD tuning. Tracks 1 and 8 feature Lucas Hamilton on drums.
