One Year Anniversary !! Special Episode : Easy to follow painting of a wild and stormy coastline using a Loose, Free approach with watercolor. I focus on capturing the shifting weather, crashing waves, and raw energy of the sea – not with details, but with feeling and atmosphere. I use a variety of different tools including a hardware store Brush, a Palette knife and a hog hair bristle Fan brush. There is no photograph for this scene, I am painting from my memory and imagination to showcase the variety of Tools, Tips and Techniques you can try for yourself in an expressive loose watercolor painting.
