Skyrim ~ How To Find The Ultra Rare Bugling Elk

In this short video see how to locate the extremely rare sighting of a bugling elk! This encounter only occurs in one specific area in the entire landscape and it has to be triggered just right. The problem is is that there's also a hostile enemy spawn point right in the same area so they sometimes kill the elk before it gets the chance to do its call. At early levels, it's a wolf and later it becomes a bear that attacks. Fast-travel to Evergreen Grove Northwest of Falkreath. Follow the path I take in the video. This triggers a Spriggan which in turn draws the bear over from the East. Defeat them and go down around the fallen stone column and go up the slope to the left. There's usually a slain deer or elk in the area already. Not long after approaching the Nordic Head statue you should begin hearing the bugle. They do it in sets of 3 and then quickly sprint off. Sometimes if you move back a ways and keep a distance the elk will return (even closer to the statue) and it'll do it again. It's truly awesome to be able to witness this unique event!
