Spring is slowly waking up at the allotment and the first signs of the new growing season are finally here 🌱 In this vlog I spend some time down at the plot taking in the early hints of spring, sorting through my seed collection and deciding what I’ll be growing this year… and what probably won’t make the cut. There’s also a slightly panicked moment when I check on my apricot and blood orange trees and start wondering if everything is okay 😅 While I’m there I get stuck into a bit of digging to make one of the beds bigger and sow some large black pansies to get the season started. It’s a slower, early-season day at the allotment but it feels good to be back planning, planting and getting the soil moving again.
