This week on Live with JP, I’m honored to welcome two incredible guests: Olivia Eisner and her dad, Jesse Eisner, for a powerful conversation about confidence, structure, and what happens when students are taught how to learn. Olivia is a 7th grader at Lake Highland Preparatory School and a dedicated equestrian who rides her horse, George, at Barrett Farms. Through her work in the CORE Confidence Program, Olivia has built something even more meaningful than academic success, confidence, organization, and a growing sense of control over her learning. Her father, Jesse Eisner, is a philanthropist, former energy executive, and currently serves as Chairperson of the Board of Directors at Make-A-Wish Central and Northern Florida. Jesse brings a parent’s perspective to this conversation, sharing what it’s been like watching Olivia develop skills that schools rarely teach: time management, organization, and independence. Here’s what Jesse shared about their experience: “In a very short amount of time, she has enhanced her time management, planning, organization, and many other critical skills that aren't directly taught in class.
