Places visited in Taipei: • Din Tai Fung – One of Taiwan’s most famous restaurants, known for its Xiao Long Bao • Rainbow Walk – A relaxing walk with scenic city views • Elephant Mountain – One of the best viewpoints to see Taipei 101 • Taipei 101 – Taiwan’s most iconic skyscraper and must-visit landmark • Rao He Night Market – Famous night market in Taipei with street food and local snacks Taipei offers the perfect mix of modern city life, nature, and food experiences. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Day 2 – Taichung Travel Guide | Zhong She Flower Market, Rainbow Village & Miyahara We traveled to Taichung, a vibrant city known for colorful attractions and unique food spots. Places visited in Taichung: • Zhong She Flower Market – Beautiful flower fields and photo spots • Rainbow Village – One of Taiwan’s most colorful and artistic villages • Miyahara – Famous dessert shop known for its ice cream and historic interior • Gyuu-niku – Dinner spot serving premium grilled meat Taichung is perfect for photography, food trips, and relaxed city exploration. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Day 3 – Exploring Taiwan | Bambilan and Ximending Night District We explored more local spots and experienced Taiwan’s vibrant night culture. Places visited: • Bambilan – Scenic and relaxing destination where you get to see capybaras + deers • Ximending – One of Taipei’s most famous shopping and nightlife districts Ximending is known for street food, shopping, and nightlife experiences. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Day 4 – Jiufen & Northern Taiwan | Shifen Waterfall, Jiufen Old Street & Yehliu Geopark This was one of the most scenic days of our Taiwan itinerary. Places visited: • Shifen Waterfall – Known as Taiwan’s Niagara Falls • Shifen Old Street – Famous for lantern releases and local street food • Jiufen Old Street – Iconic mountain village that inspired Spirited Away • Yehliu Geopark – Famous geological formations including the Queen’s Head rock • Dinner at Katsuya Jiufen and Yehliu are must-visit destinations when traveling to Taiwan. Day 5 – Alishan National Forest Travel Guide We explored one of Taiwan’s most famous natural attractions. Places visited: • Alishan National Forest – Known for its ancient trees, mountain views, and peaceful environment • Dinner at Ichiran Ramen – Famous ramen restaurant known worldwide Alishan is perfect for nature lovers and scenic experiences. Day 6 – Beitou Hot Springs & Taipei Nightlife | Thermal Valley, Spring City Resort & Cocktail Bars We experienced Taiwan’s famous hot springs and nightlife. Places visited: • Beitou Hot Springs – One of Taiwan’s most famous hot spring areas • Thermal Valley – Natural hot spring source with dramatic steam views • Spring City Resort – Relaxing hot spring experience • Sukiya – Lunch spot for some gyudon • Patty Addy – Dinner at one of the best burger places here Cocktail Bar Hopping in Taipei: • Bar Mood – One of Taipei’s top cocktail bars • To Infinity and Beyond – Creative cocktail experience • Bibber – Unique bar with innovative drinks Taipei’s cocktail bar scene is world-class and perfect for nightlife lovers.
