Summary/translation : I had really good legs today, I knew this was the day I could make a difference. I believed in myself and in everything I did during the preparation period and sacrificed so that I could be here today. I didn't give up until the end, I was always on the edge of my ability and right now I don't even know how I will catch the time block on Saturday It's cruel to be a world class rider competing in the Tour de France. Everyone is so well prepared that sometimes you suffer like an animal. At the Loze pass, I was ashamed in front of the Slovenian fans because I was at the end of my strength. You pump up those 140 pulses, 300 watts of power, which any recreational cyclist can do, because you're just so tired. At the same time, you were away from home for several months, you don't see your family, your children. And you feel stupid chasing a time limit back there. But then comes a day like today. I wanted to do as much as I could, for myself and especially for the team. And for the team staff. They wake up at six in the morning to go for a run, to do something for themselves. They go to bed at midnight. We have to change gears and tires every day. And massages, therapy... It's a lot of work and sometimes it's really hard. I'm emotional because I know how much I worked for this. I'd like to dedicate this win to the team. --- Everyone is really tired in the last week. You suffer all day. It was inconvenient. I'd rather cry, unwrap and fall asleep for three hours, but you know you have to try and do the best you can. Today I am proud of what I have achieved. For me, it was the third time. Incredible, a real spectacle. It's something special, something you remember for the rest of your life. I knew Ben O'Connor had no chance and would try a long attack. And I knew that Kasper would react, he had already won the Tour of Flanders and then beat van der Poel in the sprint, so he had to react. I stuck to Kasper's bike, 100 meters before the finish, when Kasper was at the edge of his strength, I slipped past, threw the bike as acrobatically as I could, and in the end it was enough for a few millimeters.
