This lady had postmeningitic hydrocephalus. Left-sided external ventricular drainage decompressed only the left lateral and third ventricle. The ependyma was inflammed and congested. Neuroendoscopic septostomy was done. There were webs occluding the foramen of Monro, which were perforated and the foramen was dilated leading to communication between both ventricles and third ventricle as well.
