Then find new clips of the actors and any elements that makes the the franchise known for. We make it clear at the beginning of each trailers that its ‘fan made' to avoid confusion. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Editing Journey: Working on the Spider-Man: Brand New Day fan made trailer was a creative challenge that turned out to be incredibly rewarding. As a longtime fan of the franchise, I wanted to craft something that felt fresh while honoring the emotional and gritty tone hinted at by the rumored cast. The great part was having access to newer footage of actors like Jon Bernthal, Mark Ruffalo, and Sadie Sink, which gave the trailer a grounded realism and helped elevate the story. The real hurdle was the limited new content featuring Tom Holland. Still, I managed to find a few golden clips from recent commercials that matched the mood I was aiming for—enough to show that Peter Parker is entering a new era. To begin I emphasize that Peter no longer use fancy Stark tech. I kick off the trailer showing The Hulk causing havoc in New York city, and then Spider-Man comes to the rescue. Since there’s no confirmed villain yet, I used that uncertainty to my advantage. Instead of focusing on a central antagonist, I built the trailer around the tension between characters—highlighting The Punisher's presence, the unpredictable nature of Hulk, and the mystery surrounding Sadie Sink’s role. I also leaned into fan theories by teasing the potential symbiote arc, hinting that Spider-Man might lose control and face his darker self. That idea added a layer of intensity to the trailer and gave it a "new day, new consequences" feel that fit perfectly with the theme.
