UP-CLOSE Antonov An-12 (UR-CAJ) LANDING+ TAXI at Charlotte Douglas Int'l Airport | October 5, 2024 |

A short 4K video consisting of the full landing and taxi in of a nearly 56 year old classic Ukraine Air Alliance Antonov An-12BK registered as UR-CAJ! Taken during the October 5, 2024 CLT Planespotter meetup, this extremely rare, exclusive, and surprise visit by the iconic 50+ year old Soviet-built turboprop, was truly a remarkable experience for everyone there! __________________________________________ This 5 hour and 6 minute flight was a sudden scheduled cargo flight from Morelia, Mexico into Charlotte, North Carolina to most likely transport aircraft parts and maintenance equipment. I say sudden because none of the public knew about this flight until its departure at 9:30AM(EST). This was my VERY FIRST time seeing an Antonov An-12 in person and (that I know of) the 3rd ever visit of an Antonov An-12 into Charlotte!! What's even more interesting is that all 3 An-12 visits to CLT have happened within the past 4 months between June-October with the first visit being between June 3-6, and the second visit being from the same exact An-12 in this video just 1 day before on October 4 (for an unknown reason)! ———————————————————————— This Antonov An-12BK (registered as UR-CAJ) was completed in December of 1968 and first delivered to the Soviet Union Air Force in 1969! She first recieved her UR-CAJ registration in 2007 and since 1994 she has been under ownership of quite a few different operators, with most of them and the current operator being Ukrainian! UR-CAJ is currently and has been opperated by the Ukraine Air Alliance (UAA) since April, 2023!
